Health Care Professionals
Health Care Professionals
The Health Sector is one of the Fastest Growing Sectors in BC
It has been projected that in upcoming years health occupation would be in tremendous demand due to the growing and ageing populations of BC. Health care professionals can immigrate to BC through the Skill Immigration (SI) – Healthcare professional category or through Express Entry BC (EEBC) – Healthcare Professional category of the BC Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP). In both cases, the categories of healthcare professionals such as physicians, nurses and other allied healthcare professionals can apply for permanent residence of BCPNP.
Under Skill Immigration (SI) – Healthcare professional category:
One needs to apply directly via BCPNP online, after completing the registration you will get a registration score and will remain in the pool as per the score. When BCPNP conducts periodic draw as per the threshold score of the draw, the candidates with maximum score get Invitation to Apply (ITA). Once applications are assessed and approved, you will receive nomination to apply for PR under IRCC.
Under Express Entry BC (EEBC) – Healthcare Professional category:
EEBC helps for faster processing of PR under IRCC. You will now be required to submit an EEBC application directly via BCPNP online.
